March is here and it is arriving with it major movement.
Not the loud, overnight kind. The real kind: fresh conversations, reopened budgets, and more chances for your name to land in the right room. This is one of those months where the market starts to wake up, and the small steps you’ve been taking begin to stack.
If the start of the year felt slow, take that as normal, it's not a signal to stop. March is your reminder that progress often shows up right after the season where you had to stay steady without proof.
So take a breath. Tighten your structure. Keep showing up.

Mindset Monday takeaways
This week’s Mindset Monday was a reminder that momentum doesn’t always feel good at first, sometimes it just feels unfamiliar and sometime it feels downright bad. But that means you're probably doing something right.
“You’re not stuck, you’re uncomfortable. Stuck means no options. Uncomfortable means you have options that just require growth.”
The community conversation reframed “stuck” as a signal of growth, and challenged the community to take small, structured actions even while confidence is still catching up. As we enter March (one of the most active hiring seasons annually) this is your nudge to move with intention, not perfection.

Discomfort often means there are options available, but they require a new level of growth, clarity, or courage to pursue. -
High performers struggle because they’re used to momentum.
When progress slows or uncertainty rises, the brain fills the gap with a story that something is “wrong”, even when it’s just a transition phase. -
Avoidance feels like relief, but it trains fear.
Delaying action can reduce anxiety in the short term, but reinforces the belief that the situation is dangerous, making the next step feel even bigger. -
The answer is regulated exposure: small actions, repeated.
Instead of one giant leap, take tiny, consistent steps (message two people, apply to five roles, send the follow-up). Action creates clarity and confidence follows.
March doesn’t require you to feel ready, it just requires you to move. Take the small step, build the pattern, and let confidence catch up to your courage.
